RDBM Power Wall Project Log Testing

Image
Rapid Deployment Battery Module (RDBM)      Today's update is The Testing of the Dimensions at Cellular Level Before proceeding into the bigger Design Which is 5P and The Much Bigger One the 25P and Then to The Bigger Bigger One Which is The 100P. I Tried to Make the Project Easier at my Side by Scouting the Internet of Things for Designs that are Readily Available that Would Fit my Project, so as to Lessen the Work and Expenses on Materials and Energy. Because This Project is Going to Consume so much Filaments and Electric Power if Started From Scratch. Taking Into Consideration my Source of Income and Free Time to Work on This Project is the First Barrier to Make This Thing Work. But, so far I wasn't Able to Find A Design out There that Could be use for my Intended Purpose, not to Mention Most Available 3D Files in the Internet are STLs that are difficult to edit and most cannot be undone.      I Ended up Designing my Own Holder ...

Cigarette Smoking is Dangerous to Your Health

We always read and hear the facts regarding cigarettes, but not all gives attention. I'm not even expecting that all who read the trimmed paragraph with the heading can be hooked to read this facts furthermore. I assume that all smokers and non-smokers who knew cigar, know a lot of the harmful effects of cigarettes, so I am to share to you only few facts that I guess unknown to many. A stick of cigarette consumes 8-15 minutes of your life! Pretty bad for active smokers, not much with passive smokers! But take a second review passive smokers or second hand smoking is more dangerous than first hand since harmful compounds of cigarette smoke gets it's complicated and worst form after reaction with carbon dioxide. And the most disastrous it takes 20 years to clear body systems the moment you stop smoking or protect yourselves from secondhand smoking. And lastly active smokers are not immune to legal cases such as parecide and genocide!

Gandhi's Sacred Teaching

I am neither a man of letters, nor of science but I humbly claim to be a man of prayer. It is prayer that has saved my life. Without prayers I would have lost my reason a long time ago. If I did not lose my peace of soul, in spite of many trials, it is because the peace came to me from prayer. One can live several days without food, but not without prayer, prayer is the key to each morning and the lock to every evening. Prayer is the sacred alliance between God and man. In order to be delivered from the clutches of the prince of darkness, we have to choose either to ally ourselves with the the forces of evil, or on the other hand, with the forces of God. This is my scared teaching: let everyone try this experience and he will find that daily prayer will add something new to his life, of which there is no equivalent to be found anywhere. -M. Gandhi-

When Would my Blogging be an Earning Blog?

sigh....! It's been a month since I came back from a vacation on blogging, I was surprised at first when I discovered that I've earned $0.30, it made me smile that somebody took some time to crawl and read my blogs. Recently I'm earning page impressions on blogs but no more incentives from clicks, I'm getting a little impatient of when will I be getting my first earnings with my blogs. But nevertheless I'm enjoying reading other blogs and posting my blogs and spending more time with it, to make it more productive and to increase the traffic as well. I still need to wait about fifteen days more to re-register my blog at payperpost, to have another option of income. To all readers who don't have account on payperpost you may fill up the form at right side of this blog, choose either you are a blogger or an advertiser. God bless and enoy reading or writing.

Oopps I done it Again

I went to the quarry the other day where our dirt jump ramps are still and waiting for me. I checked the surroundings first to see if everything where in the same condition as we left it. I rolled back and fourth the ramp jumping over it without the bike just to overcome the nervous and get use with it. And finally after a few minutes I decided to take a jump, I took my bike and positioned at the starting line and pedaled through the ramp and to bad I did it again. I went down crashed landed my speed was too slow that I did not reach the receiver and tumble over and got a new wounds on my nose and shin! Still not contented, I tried it again adding more speed and poof I did it, I cleared the ramp although it was a rough landing but at least I didn't crash!

Helium Shortage

I recently read from Growth Stock Wire that we will soon be facing a helium shortage. Is this true, and what will be the effect on us? The Information gave a historic summary regarding the U.S. as the world's largest producer of the helium. And it was also stated that they have a federal helium reserve in a depleted natural gas field outside Amarillo, Texas. It was created in 1960 and holds more than 20 billion cubic feet, or three years of global supply. But the U.S. government plans on selling off the reserves by 2015. In the meantime, industrial demand for helium will be at it's peack, because Helium is used to produce computer chips, optical fibers, flat-panel displays, laser welding, and cooling magnets in MRI machines. The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (or MRI) uses 20% of the helium produced. Liquid helium is the coldest substance on earth, at -452 Fahrenheit. These machines need liquid helium to cool the magnets that are used to create the images. While MRI's are the la...

True Friendship

Image
To have a friend is to have one of the sweetest gifts that life can bring; to be a friend is to have a solemn and tender education of soul from day to day. A friend gives us confidence for life. A friend makes us outdo ourselves. A friend remembers us when we have forgotten ourselves or neglected ourselves; he takes loving heed of our health, our work, our aims, our plans. A friend may praise us, and we are not embarrassed; he may rebuke us, and we are not angered. if he be silent, we understand. It takes a great soul to be a friend - a large, catholic, steadfast, and loving spirit. One must give much, forget much, forbear much. It costs to be a friend or to have a friend. There is nothing else in life except motherhood that costs so much. It not only costs time. affection. patience. love, but sometimes a man must even lay down his life for his friends. there is no true friendship without self-abnegation, self-sacrifice. Remember that when you go on a long, long way which is your way.....

The Story Behind World in Conflict Part II

Image
"We were racing toward Seattle where the main Soviet base lies near the harbor, early in the morning I can hear the rumbling sound of artillery! We pushed toward the harbor and we found ourselves behind enemy lines once again!" Col. Sawyer and his men have only 45 minutes before the nuclear strike. They have to succeed or else they will all die there. Retreat was never an option. It's either push the enemy out of Seattle or die with them. It was about only 20 seconds left when I finished the final assault very close to a mission failure. After the success of taking back Seattle, Major Web was caught by a sniper and under a critical condition! The enemy was counter attacking, just when I thought that I won't finished the game Col. Wilkins of the Air Force arrived and gave assistance and pounded the rest of the enemy. Major Web made it through and Capt. Parker, (thats me in game) wrote you the story of soldiers behind enemy lines during the cold war, how they died and l...

World Where Wounds Never Heal

Image
Throughout my life on this world I never been separated from my bike, wherever I've been there's always my bike on my side to be a part of my exhaust fan; When I'm bored angry or lifeless my bike was one of my outlet for emotions that makes us older. Nevertheless the world of bikers is considered to be "A World Where Wounds Never Heal" Yeah it's right cause from my early age with biking the same spot on my legs and shins, elbows and shoulders have wounds and scars until now. These are the marks that made the man I am today. My experience with biking does not affect my civil status or economical standards of living, but it help me developed my confidence and skills that somehow only in biking can be achieve. Much more I've earned new friends that only a high standard professions can have. When bikers meet expect that a Commanding General of an Armed Forces and a Medical Doctor of a prestigious Hospital or a Engineer who build the tallest building will be a...

A Li'l of My History

Image
As far as I can remember it was in the early 1980's when we set in our hometown. IT was a year when the dictator leadership of Marcos reigned in our country and blood shed of the dark shadow of war is all over Mindanao and the Archipelago. Communist and Muslim liberation rebels are rampant. Nowadays Democracy Rules but shadows of Corruption still lingers hidden but not unknown to many. We struggle to survive and live with integrity and justice. I lived a life where military influence is big mark on my lifespan. I learned their language as well as their way of life. Their war toys is not unknown to me as well as the destruction it may cause and life it will take. Toys that were used and will be use to take life for lives to live. To protect the sovereignty of a Country. Although inside and out I roam the the military camp, on my growing years I was stepping on a pedal of a mini bicycle and to a bmx and now on a pedal of a mountain bike. I don't claim to be an expert but th...

No wonder some robbers grabbed your photos! as I scroll and watched your pictures! Damn it hit me as if I'm watching a scenery from the top of Mt. Agad Agad and In the midst of the forestry of the South! Yeah! you're right I find you one of those who own such undeniable beauty! Take good care of it "Friend" reinforced it with the beauty that is unseen! Never mind of those robbers! Time will come "Mother Nature will Render Her Bill!" And when that time comes! There will no time and place of their choice! It will be bitter! It will be cold! It will be painful! It will be unforgettable! For it will leave a mark like a scar on their face that never fades! Trimming Weights on your Mountain Bike?

Image
Are you a mountain biker or a cyclist in general? I've just learned from a mountain bike magazine that the first point where to start trimming your rig's weight is at the wheelset! The weight does not concentrate very much on the hubs but on the parts the are moving far from the rotating center. Yes! the tires, the tubes, the rims! It has something to do with what they call centripetal force and centrifuge. And much more regardless of this scientific basis is the way the products are manufactured. Whether the same brand and same models tires and tubes specially differentiate very much with their mass. Weighing before buying these parts can save a few more pounds to cut some weight from your rig. Try weighing 20 pieces of tubes with the same brand and model! you'll be surprise if you will know the difference!

The Story Behind World In Conflict

It's been a month since I posted a self review about the recent RTS game World In Conflict it wasn't detailed due to the fact that I wasn't able to play the game. This time I gave it a try to play it's campaign although I'm not yet thru, I was able to grasp some information regarding the story of the game. It started with the invasion of Russian to the U.S. through the Bays of Seattle and a small number of American soldiers were able to defend it for a while and were able to survive till the president of the U.S.A. made a last resort to defend their homeland. Col. Sawyer, Cpt. Bannon, Lt. Parker, Lt. Web, Lt. Vance were the main characters of the story, they lead the battered battalion to defend their homeland. The first weeks of the invasion made Col. Sawyers men to continuously go forward to Fort Teller while giving a high resistance against the invading forces to slow them down. Unknown to the Russians that Fort Teller holds nothing to defend U.S. against any Nu...

Human Race A Savior or A Destroyer?

"Only One Specie Can Save All Species" - Discovery Channel- When I heard this line while watching Discovey Channel, it hit me as if I'm torn between the matters of being a destroyer or a allie of the Mother Earth and all her life forms under her refuge. There were times that I never throw my rubbish on the garbage can but there are also times that i nurture nature. Hmmm.... on the second thought, I love nature then why shouldn't I stick to the path of nurturing her and make it a habbit to be one of those green rangers. We only have planet earth! How about you have you ever think of being a refuge of all lifeforms here on earth maybe yes maybe not! but what matter most now is earth is at the pick of her destruction as human race continue to grow greedy and malcontent. Can you Imagine in one push of a button it'll be raining hell of nuclear warheads! Think about it! Be a savior or be a destroyer!

What can you say about Rainbow?

Just this afternoon I saw a rainbow after a rain shower, it made me think to ask some people about rainbow, some answered it's colorful some say it's beautiful mostly were adjectives and little of scientific basis. How about you what can you say about rainbow? Did you ever think of other meaning other than the mentioned answers above? Rainbow has a significant symbol for Christians, it simply reminds of the covenant between man and God! A covenant that states; God will never destroy the earth again with water. People I asked where flattered upon hearing this meaning of mine that I learned from elementary then high school but little noticed. It made a marked on me when I was in college when a French priest shared us the meaning of rainbow in a biblical basis with life. It was a point that made me look to a rainbow in different a angle.

DSL Bandwidth Definiton

I went to a certain Internet Service Provider to enhance my current DSL banwidth from 512kbps to 2Mbps. It took them a week to replace my modem and account, yes it's a very long waiting period and thats not all, I'm still getting the usual speed of my internet it's more than a month and every time I ask their technical staff they usually say I'm gonna forward it to the network administrator for verification or confirmation or activation.... and much more when I made a inquiry regarding the expected bandwidth they said that I will only expect to received as much as 1.2 Mbps where in fact the definition of my account's bandwidth is 2Mbps, The difference is almost 50%. I suggest that they shouldn't made such definition of their services if they can't give the actual service. I guess these how it goes with a capitalist propaganda. "Forces of capitalist if left unchecked, tend to make the rich richer and poor poorer!"

Leptospirosis

A friend of mine sent me this e-mail and I took some time to copy it and post here for information purpose and also to share to all people who happen to have such attitude of the subject female towards canned drinks. A woman went boating one Sunday taking with her some cans of coke which she put into the refrigerator of the boat. On Monday she was taken to the hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit. She died on Wednesday . The autopsy concluded she died of Leptospirosis. This was traced to the can of coke she drank from, not using a glass. Tests showed that the can was infected by dried rat urine and hence the disease Leptospirosis. Rat urine contains toxic and deadly substances. It is highly recommended to thoroughly wash the upper part of soda cans before drinking out of them. The cans are typically stocked in warehouses and transported straight to the shops without being cleaned. A study at NYCU showed that the tops of soda cans are more contaminated than public toilets (...

Human Rights Vs. It's Alright

It's more than seven years since my father's death. No he didn't die because of sickness much more because of accident. He died with pain incomparable; But he died as a hero. Yes my father was a soldier! and he belong to a military sector where gathering of informations and linking rebels and the government is a primary concern. It even took many times of his time for us deviated to his duty, his service, his ought! But my mother and siblings where use to it. Because he was in his service for more than 20 long years and the progress of his military is not unknown to many of his fellow soldiers, friends and foe; inside and out of his service. But we were shaken one day when we heard the news regarding a negative response of their where abouts. Their commanders where speechless so we are! Only a question that continuously lingers into our mind is "where are they?". The day before they were missing I had a chance to talk to him regarding my allowance at school. ...

Road Trip To Upi Via Two Wheels and two Legs

Image
Sunday morning at around six in the morning I went to my friend's house Zagatrix, because it was our rendezvous. afterwards Lara came, our cameraman and our motorcycle driver. It's already past seven in the morning when we started to pedal to our destination to North UPI. a thirty kilometers of winding uphill, 2kilometers of straight and 4 kilometers of downhill!. It's was a rough and heavy trip going to the top of North UPI, but thrill and excitement of reaching the top where the city lies is stronger than the gravity! Zagatrix brought his Downhill rig and mine a Freeride Rig yes! bought are heavy setup of mountain bike rig! wonder why? Because the route going back is the inverse of pull! gravity is pulling us back to lowlands. It took us three hours to climb the city, but it took only one and half hour to be back home. We head straight to Lomboy Awang where fresh clear water river is a picnic spot!
