RDBM Power Wall Project Log Testing

Image
Rapid Deployment Battery Module (RDBM)      Today's update is The Testing of the Dimensions at Cellular Level Before proceeding into the bigger Design Which is 5P and The Much Bigger One the 25P and Then to The Bigger Bigger One Which is The 100P. I Tried to Make the Project Easier at my Side by Scouting the Internet of Things for Designs that are Readily Available that Would Fit my Project, so as to Lessen the Work and Expenses on Materials and Energy. Because This Project is Going to Consume so much Filaments and Electric Power if Started From Scratch. Taking Into Consideration my Source of Income and Free Time to Work on This Project is the First Barrier to Make This Thing Work. But, so far I wasn't Able to Find A Design out There that Could be use for my Intended Purpose, not to Mention Most Available 3D Files in the Internet are STLs that are difficult to edit and most cannot be undone.      I Ended up Designing my Own Holder ...

Bohol

Image
I am currently more interested in making and developing projects, a type of research and development thing. But my other half, other than her profession is an active tourist, she has the luxury to spend a vacation at least once a year locally and a few sponsored out of the country vacation. Though travelling for vacation is not of importance to me now, I love visiting new places for new experiences and the most to unwind. My wife decided to have a family vacation as a gift for her father who is turning 60, to mark and celebrate his Senior Citizenship. And the destination? Is the birthplace of my in-laws, The Island of Bohol! It was raining with cats and dogs when we arrive at the port. It was dawn and we could barely see the shore. We had a few hours of sleep, a few bites for breakfast and a coffee before heading to tourist spots. The first stop was the Snakes and the Butterflies. This stop will be nice for kids, they will find it amazing how butte...

Switch Fish

Image
This happens everytime someone forgets to flip the switch. I have dozens of Red Tilapia for my aquaponics, and I occasionally catch fish for other hobbyist or for a decent meal. But when I forgot switching my emergency compressor during power outage, disaster happens I get a dozen or more belly-up fish by the morning. The last worst case was about 60 heads of three finger sized Red Tilapia. Though we get to turn them into food, it breaks my heart for failing myself and the fishes. I am hoping that my mistake will not also take the new batch of about 300 pcs 7 days old fry. Other than that, I am still working on the automated switching control using Arduino. The development takes time because of budget concerns. I have to focus the resource on the power station.

Puppy Love

Image
Back in the days of early childhood, when the hormone of opposite-sex attraction starts to kick in. Those were the days my friends that are so much important to us, that all that matters are the feelings. We have no troubles of the world around us that might give. I accidentally stumbled this letter at my office. Someone must have been in a hurry and left his dear love letter. TRANSLATION: Dear Mcmc      Did you know that you are my crush, I hope that I am also your crush. Someday it will be you and Amanda, it's ok not just Bea. Did you know I got butterflies in my stomach everytime we are together. Someone who got a crush on you, Tintin It's funny to think nowadays reminiscing the childhood days. Things that  hurt us and made us cry during those days, now makes us laugh. Not to mention laughing my way out of the translation lines. Kids nowadays! :)

Home Made Roofing Patch

Image
My post for today will answer one of household problem during this rainy season. The solution that will be presented might not be applicable to some roofing but can be improvised to address same issue, patching a hole or leaking roof. Everything will be straightforward and quite easy. Tools: A Scissor strong enough to cut PET bottles. A Cutter or exacto knife. A caulking gun (Optional, only needed if you use a caulk type of adhesive or sealant) Materials: Adhesive Sealant or Elastomeric Sealant, a weather proof and water proof specification is the best. A PET Bottle  For the instruction. First Cut the parts of the PET bottle that we don't need. The neck and the bottom.  Then cut the body  in pieces that conforms your roof. Mine resulted in four pieces of patch. For the next step, Place sealant in the middle of plastic patch thick enough to co make the patch stick to the roof or thick enough that it scatters all over the pat...

I recommend charging when the battery indicator is at 1 bar or 5%-10%. ( * ) Phones have a built in electronics that monitors battery's health, but every electronic parts have a plus and minus (+/-) tolerances. Unless your phone's charging and battery safety modules have a NASA specification do not follow or overdo, underdone recommendations on your phone's manual.
